THEME: Lost & Found/ Luke 15:24, “For this my Son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.”
DATES: Friday night, April 22- Sunday morning, April 24
COST: $30 per student for Early Bird registration if paid by April 1. $40 after April 1.
Cost includes event registration, all meals, snacks, activities, and a t-shirt!
WHAT IS DNOW?
Disciple Now (DNOW) is a local retreat weekend for 7th-12th grade students. DNOW will take place Friday night to Sunday morning, students will participate in large group worship, small group Bible studies, and Saturday afternoon recreation. Freshwater Church Partners will host students in their homes, organized by grade and gender, and all volunteers are cleared with background checks, interviews, and appropriate training.
What to Bring?
- sleeping bag/pillow/blanket: you will be sleeping on the floor in most homes
- enough clothes for the weekend
- Bible (don't have one, we'll give you one!)
- pen or pencil
Unplug this weekend: Since the purpose is to get away, we are asking students not to bring electronics on this trip. Cell phones are allowed, but we do not want them to be a distraction or the focus of this weekend.
Commit: We ask that students who sign up stay for the entire weekend. Since we are staying in Jefferson City, you are not allowed to leave to grab something from home, or any other reason.
