Dear Freshwater Church
It's now time for us to pay for the land. The purchase price is $250,000 for 22 acres. We will be closing on the land by the end of 2016. Ideally, we would like to be able to raise the total purchase price in one-time gifts so that the property could be paid for in its entirety.
We would ask that you prayerfully consider what you are able to give toward the purchase of this property. The goal is that we would have 100% participation from those that have become Partners of Freshwater. We ask that you consider the 3 giving options below and then fill out the pledge form using the link provided below. Paper copies of the pledge form are also provided at the Connect Table located in the Warehouse, and your paper form can be placed in the Giving Box also located at the back of the Warehouse. We would like to receive all pledges by the end of November. When you have turned in your completed pledge form you will receive a letter confirming your giving amount as well as giving instructions regarding how to proceed with your gifts.
We are offering 3 giving options for you to consider.
This giving option allows you to give a lump-sum gift toward the purchase of the property and the subsequent improvements.
INCREASE OF YOUR REGULAR TITHES
This giving option allows you to pledge an increase of your tithes and offerings by a designated percentage for a stipulated amount of time. For example, if you currently give 10% of your income as your tithe, you might consider increasing your giving to 13% for the next 3 years.
INCREASE OF YOUR REGULAR TITHES AND A ONE-TIME GIFT
This giving option allows you to not only give a one-time gift, but to also increase your regular tithes and offerings for a stipulated amount of time.
We would like to thank you for your gifts toward this purchase. Your obedient and sacrificial giving has been instrumental in what we've been able to see happen at Freshwater over the last 3 years. We anticipate God continuing to bless this church through your obedience to Him.
