NO WORSHIP SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT FRESHWATER ON OCTOBER 1
Every year Freshwater spends a Sunday morning working together to give back to our community, called Labor for Your Neighbor (L4YN). This year, L4YN has become a part of our LOVE JC campaign that exists to love and serve the people and organizations who selflessly serve Jefferson City and the surrounding communities. This year we have chosen to partner with the Lincoln University Baptist Student Minister, Clint Mahan, to update and renovate the Lincoln Baptist Student Union and the International Student House. These projects will greatly increase ministry opportunities at Lincoln University to both local and global students attending both Lincoln University and State Tech.
T-SHIRTS: Everyone who signs up by September 17 will receive a free L4YN t-shirt.
PARKING: This year everyone will park at McClung Park - 930 McClung Park Dr, JCMO. Our Transportation Team will transport everyone to their job sites and back to their cars. Arrive at McClung Park between 8:30 - 9:00 am and look for the Freshwater flag near the outdoor pavilion.
CHILDCARE: Childcare will be provided for kids up through 3rd grade for participating families at the Knowles YMCA - 424 Stadium Blvd JCMO. Kids can be dropped off between 8:00 - 8:30 am and must be picked up by 12 noon. If you anticipate needing childcare, you MUST register your kids HERE. Sorry, no walk-ins will be accepted.
LUNCH: Lunch will be provided back at McClung Park between 12:00 - 1:00 pm for everyone involved with L4YN.
